The Cold Chain Institute Latin America is the Global Cold Chain Alliance's structured operational training program for the region, running 20-22 July 2026 at the Marriott Mexico City Reforma. It is an immersive, practitioner-taught curriculum covering warehouse operations, transportation, food safety, employee safety, and leadership development rather than a trade show or conference. It is the Latin American counterpart to GCCA's long-running North American Cold Chain Institute.
Attendees build cross-functional operational competency in temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution, which is where the regional cold chain's throughput, food safety, and compliance are actually managed day to day. It is a talent-development and standards-alignment vehicle for cold storage and 3PL operators, not a deal-making or product-launch venue.
The room is emerging leaders, operations managers, and logistics and supply chain professionals from Latin American cold storage and third-party logistics operators, taught by active industry practitioners. It skews operational and mid-career rather than C-suite or vendor sales.
