What we collect
Alert subscriptions. If you subscribe to our bi-weekly alerts, we collect your email address, your selected interests and regions, and your role if you choose to share it.
Event submissions. If you submit an event, we collect the event details you provide and your contact details so we can verify the listing.
"I'm going" listings. If you mark yourself as attending an event, we store the name, role and company you enter. These are displayed publicly only if you tick the display option; otherwise you are counted anonymously.
We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
How we use it
We use your data solely to deliver the service you asked for: sending the alerts you subscribed to, verifying and publishing submitted events, and showing attendance where you opted in. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time — every alert email includes an unsubscribe link.
Where it's processed
Form submissions and email delivery are handled by our hosting and email service providers, acting on our instructions. We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above, and delete subscription data when you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@coldchainer.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
