Cold Chain Live! is the Cold Chain Federation's biggest annual event, a two-day conference plus exhibition running 13-14 October 2026 at Telford International Centre under the 2026 theme 'The Future of the Cold Chain'. It pairs a main-stage and breakout programme with an exhibition floor of 40-plus refrigeration, storage, transport and monitoring suppliers, including an Innovation Zone. Attendance runs at more than 400 each year.
It is the anchor gathering where the UK cold chain sets its shared agenda on the issues that actually move operating cost and compliance: energy and refrigeration decarbonisation, F-gas and Net Zero pressure, labour and driver constraints, and storage/distribution capacity. Suppliers use the Innovation Zone and exhibition to launch equipment, so it is a practical scouting ground for cold-store, transport and monitoring technology. The Federation's policy positions and industry data are aired here first.
The room is UK-centric and senior: managing directors, business owners, and operations, technical and engineering directors from temperature-controlled storage operators, refrigerated hauliers, and food manufacturers and retailers. The supplier side brings refrigeration, materials-handling, energy, packaging and telematics/monitoring vendors. It skews commercial decision-makers and cold-chain operators rather than pure academics or regulators.
