The GCCA Convention is the flagship annual gathering of the Global Cold Chain Alliance, the trade association representing temperature-controlled warehouse operators, refrigerated logistics providers, and cold chain service firms. It combines industry benchmarking and business-intelligence sessions, association governance, an exhibit hall of equipment and technology vendors, and structured executive networking. The 2027 edition runs 17-19 May in Miami, Florida.
This is where the third-party cold storage industry sets its commercial and operational agenda: capacity and construction trends, energy and refrigerant regulation, automation, and labor are debated by the operators who control most of North America's refrigerated warehouse space. GCCA releases benchmarking and productivity data and advances its regulatory and advocacy positions at the event. Attendance shapes vendor selection, capital-investment decisions, and peer benchmarking for the year ahead.
The room is dominated by owners, presidents, CEOs, and operations executives of public refrigerated warehouse and cold-storage logistics companies, alongside facility and engineering managers. Solution providers spanning refrigeration, racking, material handling, automation, WMS, and temperature monitoring populate the exhibit floor. Attendance skews senior and North American, with international GCCA regional members also present.
