WHX Lagos is the West African edition of Informa Markets' World Health Expo (WHX) portfolio, rebranded in 2025 from Medic West Africa; its co-located laboratory event Medlab West Africa became WHX Labs Lagos. It is a three-day exhibition and congress spanning medical equipment, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, digital health and laboratory science. The 2027 edition runs at the Landmark Centre in Lagos.
This is the anchor healthcare trade event for the Nigerian and wider West African pharma market, where manufacturers meet distributors, procurement officers and regulators — the contact point for pharmaceutical and vaccine distribution and GDP-compliant handling in a region where cold-chain integrity is a persistent constraint. Distribution agreements and procurement relationships for temperature-sensitive medicines and vaccines get formed on the floor. Relevance is via the pharmaceutical and public-health supply chain rather than a formal cold-chain program.
The floor draws healthcare professionals, medical and pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors and dealers, procurement officers, hospital and clinical buyers, policymakers, regulators and investors, predominantly from Nigeria and the surrounding region. Seniority spans government health officials and regulatory bodies through to commercial procurement and distribution decision-makers.
