The World Vaccine Congress Washington is the most established global vaccine-industry congress, spanning the value chain from basic research to commercial manufacture across 12 parallel tracks including Bioprocessing & Manufacturing, Clinical Trials, Regulatory, and Supply & Logistics. The 2027 edition runs four days (8-11 March, with pre-congress workshops on the 8th) and draws 3,000+ attendees, 400+ speakers and 200+ exhibitors. It is a vaccine science and business event rather than a dedicated cold chain show, but distribution and cold chain sit within its Supply & Logistics stream.
The Supply & Logistics track is where vaccine manufacturers, distributors and public-health agencies work through cold chain resilience, last-mile delivery and domestic manufacturing strategy, much of it framed by COVID-19 lessons and health-security planning. Formulation and fill-finish sessions in the Bioprocessing & Manufacturing track shape thermostability and packaging requirements that drive downstream cold chain design. Regulatory sessions cover the compliance environment governing vaccine handling and distribution.
The room is senior vaccine industry: big pharma and biotech, SME biotech, government and public-health agencies, academia, and service providers including CDMOs, distributors and logistics/cold chain suppliers. Seniority skews to directors and VPs of manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory and R&D. Cold chain and logistics vendors appear as both exhibitors and speakers within the Supply & Logistics track.
