CPHI Americas (formerly CPHI North America) is Informa Markets' US edition of the global CPHI pharma exhibition franchise, covering ingredients and APIs, contract development and manufacturing (CDMO/CRO), packaging, machinery and the broader pharma supply chain. The 2026 Philadelphia edition drew roughly 3,700 attendees and 295+ exhibitors; the 2027 edition moves to the Miami Beach Convention Center on 25-26 May, a move Informa framed as courting more senior executives and international buyers.
Cold-chain-relevant exposure here is sourcing rather than technical: temperature-controlled packaging suppliers, pharma-logistics and GDP/distribution providers exhibit, and CDMO capacity for temperature-sensitive biologics gets scoped at the deal-making level. It is a partnering and supplier-discovery floor, not a dedicated cold-chain conference, so the payoff is finding vendors and outsourcing partners across the pharma supply chain rather than attending cold-chain-specific sessions.
The room is pharma and biotech sourcing, manufacturing and supply-chain leads, CDMO/CRO business-development teams, ingredient and packaging suppliers, and logistics/cold-chain service providers, weighted toward commercial and executive roles given the 2027 relocation aimed at senior decision-makers and investors.
